



Tickets are being offered via a secure, online ticketing service. Please determine the ticket level you wish to purchase and then select it on the ticket selection page found by following the “Purchase Tickets” link which will away from the film festival site.
With the exception of “Producers Guild Passes”, all screening passes are general admission; theater seating is limited and not reserved. All seating for showings is determined on a first come first serve basis and seating for individual showings is not guaranteed. Schedules and synopsis will be provided in advance of the Festival on the LIFF website to facilitate planning your time at the festival.

Directed by Academy Award nominated screen writer Guillermo Arriaga (“Babel”) and starring Charlize Theron, Kim Basinger and native Louisvillian Jennifer Lawrence. Q&A with Guillermo Arriaga an Jennifer Lawrence following the film.

Movie enthusiasts can rub elbows with filmmakers from both invited and competition films including Falling from Grace director Fay Ann Lee (L.A. Law), twin brothers Noah and Logan Miller who wrote and directed Touching Home starring Ed Harris, and local filmmakers Mustafa Gouveneur-Henry and Clay Morton whose documentary Baptism of Jesus Christ: Uncovering Bethany Beyond the Jordan will be shown in its entirety for the first time at LIFF. Kentucky themed hors d’oeuvres along with wine and beer are being provided by White Oak at Artemesia Restaurant.

Awards Dinner

Five-time Emmy Award winner Doris Roberts will receive a special Life Time Achievement Award. Roberts, notorious for her role as the nosy, insufferable, and manipulative Marie Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond, will also be in town to help promote her new movie Another August Moon.

Kathryn Joosten, a two time Emmy Award winner who is best known for her roles as the bickering, older neighbor Karen McCluskey on Desperate Housewives and Delores Landingham, secretary to the President of the United States on The West Wing, will be recognized for her help in launching Louisville’s International Festival of Film. Her new short The Bake Shop Ghost, in which she stars, will be in LIFF. Along with these special recognition awards, winners from each of the juried film categories will be announced including long and short features, long and short documentaries, long and short animation and on-the-edge entries. Specially engraved bottles of Woodford Reserve Bourbon will be presented to festival winners. An award for Audience Favorite will also be given to the film that receives the highest score by festival attendees.
