Britney Lost Her Phone

United States
Duration: 01:48:00

In the early 1800’s the first white settlers set out for the Pacific coast. They’re seeking freedom, peace and a new life in the Promised Land. Most will never make it. Instead, they will die of starvation in the cruel and foreign deserts. We follow one of those families as they try and overcome the long odds of survival in this strange new environment. As grief, hunger and desperation begin to tear the Youngman family apart, they find salvation in the most unlikely place…. a smart phone. Through the plot’s one magical device, a working smartphone has somehow traveled back in time to the 1800’s. Within it, the Youngman family unlocks all the accumulated knowledge of modern man. They’re suddenly able to find food. They’re able to locate desert springs for water. They can stream infinite music for free online. It’s easy to see the iPhone as a miracle sent straight from God. But the wonders of modern technology also bring new threats they’d never imagined. It causes them to fight amongst themselves. It polarizes their beliefs, fills them with dread and anxiety, and addicts them to pornography. Brother turns on brother, and the family finds itself on the brink of ruin. To survive, they’ll have to find a way to use technology for good while avoiding its dangerous and deadly temptations.
