Seating Policy

Film schedules and locations subject to change. Please check for updates at louisvillefilmfestival.org. Celebrities scheduled to appear are subject to change. Capacity is limited. Seating for showings is not guaranteed; theaters will be
filled on a first come first serve basis according to the following:

  • With the exception of “Producers Guild Passes”, all screening passes are general admission. Theater seating is limited and not reserved.
  • All seating for showings is determined on a first come first serve basis and seating for individual showings is not guaranteed. Schedules and synopsis have been provided on the LIFF website to facilitate planning your time at the festival.

Movie Showing Lines

Each showing will have three lines for access to theaters. Producers Guild ticket holders will have priority access to the theater up to show time (15 reserved seats until 15 minutes prior to start time).
Weekend and Day pass holders will be in the second line but will need to queue prior to ensure seating.
Individual ticket holders will have the opportunity to queue in a third line and will be seated if lines 1 and 2 are empty.

Theater Filled Policy

If the number of people not getting into a showing is substantial the festival reserves the right but does not guarantee to offer a special showing of the movie on Sunday, October 4th at a location to be disclosed via the festival website.
