An Armenian Trilogy was created by metro Detroit jingle writer Dan Yessian. The film tracks Dan’s life from budding musician to creator of some of America’s most recognized advertising tunes such as Whirlpool’s “We’re Making Your World a Little Easier” and Dodge Boys “Have More Fun.” Then the film follows his composition of the classical work “An Armenian Trilogy”, written to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. It continues with Dan’s visit to his ancestral homeland and the triumphant debut of his music performed there by the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra.Dan’s company Yessian has clients among some of the world’s best-known brands in advertising, film, TV, gaming, and theme parks: Ford, RAM, Toyota, Disney, Budweiser, Macy’s, United Airlines, Walmart, Coca Cola, L’Oreal, McDonald’s, Porsche, NBC, and so many more. Yessian has offices and studios in New York as well as Los Angeles, Detroit, and Hamburg, Germany.Dan’s life took a dramatic turn in 2014 when he was asked by his church to write a composition to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the murder of 1.5 million Armenians. Originally written for piano and violin, “An Armenian Trilogy” was eventually fully orchestrated, and performed in Armenia’s capital city, Yerevan, by the Armenia Philharmonic Orchestra in 2017.
